Jewson
Jewson, an international firm of timber importers, was having trouble identifying the stock they had stored at the docks. This gave them two major headaches:
- Not fulfilling orders quickly enough
- Very high levels of wastage
Both problems were costing them money. So they asked me what to do. I suggested a colour-coded weatherproof label. Now, as soon as the timber left Sweden, the labels were printed – ready and waiting for when the ship docked.
Result
- They can identify the stock they need quickly and easily – so no more delays with the orders.
- Stock is rotated properly. Wastage? What’s that?
Everyone was very impressed with the exhibition displays and one of our customers said that our brochures and business cards were the best he had seen in the industry.
